Big On Taste is a friendly, motivated team of caterers and event organisers run by the husband and wife partnership of Colin and Karen Craig. Colin is in charge of the event organising while Karen is the head chef, with the business being based around her creative style of cooking.
We are passionate about food, and as our name implies, we only want to produce food that’s bursting with flavour. If you enjoy food then you are sure to appreciate the efforts we make to ensure the simplest of dishes are a delight to eat. Combine this with our eye for presentation, the knowledge that we operate to the highest hygiene standards, and our cheerful, smartly dressed staff, and you will begin to appreciate why we have built up such an enviable reputation over the years. Value for money, exceeding customers’ expectations and the highest standard of friendly service are what we consistently achieve.
We provide business lunches every day for corporate clients and cater regularly for larger corporate events such as product launches or opening ceremonies. For our private clients we cater for everything from dinner parties in their homes, to christenings, anniversaries and birthday parties. We are engaged most weeks with charity fundraising balls, dinner dances and weddings as we specialise in catering for the larger events, particularly in marquees.
As well as outside caterers we are also accomplished event organisers. This means that we can, if you wish, organise as much or as little of your function as you prefer. This ranges from finding the right venue through to table linen, quality entertainment, temporary bars and, of course, the food. We can also generate ideas which will make your wedding or function one never to be forgotten. The prospect of a one stop shop where you can come for all the elements of a memorable occasion appeals to those of us with hectic lives, or to those of us who just don’t know where to start searching.
Essentially our customers are people who appreciate well priced tasty food handmade from the best ingredients, realistic help with the organising of their event and dealing with friendly, efficient staff. And at the event itself, our experience and eye for detail will ensure that events run smoothly and that everything happens when it is expected to happen.
